Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Kamehameha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odin Takoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takoy has chosen Daft Punk - End of Line as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, King Kamehameha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Odin Takoy!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takoy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Takoy cracks Kamehameha with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


It looks like King Kamehameha has been cut.
Takoy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kamehameha has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A combination from Takoy does no damage.
Takoy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Takoy wants to clinch up but Kamehameha keeps it at a distance.
Takoy connects with a right hand. Kamehameha shakes it off.
Kamehameha misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice defenses there by Kamehameha.
Kamehameha walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


King Kamehameha's cut is getting worse.
Takoy misses with a series of wild punches.
Takoy throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kamehameha counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Kamehameha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Takoy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kamehameha throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Takoy misses with a few strikes there.
Kamehameha drops his hands momentarily and Takoy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kamehameha connects with a high kick.


It looks like Odin Takoy has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takoy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kamehameha throws a head kick but Takoy moves out of range.
Kamehameha looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Takoy throws the left hand but Kamehameha avoids the punch easily.
Kamehameha swinging wildly here.
Takoy lands a right hook to the body.
Takoy throws an overhand right that lands on Kamehameha's shoulder, as Kamehameha tries to avoid the shot.
Takoy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


King Kamehameha's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Takoy jabs at Kamehameha's body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kamehameha.
Takoy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kamehameha fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Takoy cracks Kamehameha with a right hand to the side of the head.
Takoy throws a series of punches but Kamehameha avoids them all with ease.

Takoy closes the distance and clinches.
Takoy misses with a hook from the clinch.
Takoy has had enough of the clinch but Kamehameha keeps him there for the moment.
Kamehameha wants to stall.

Takoy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kamehameha with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Takoy looks gassed!

Kamehameha connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Takoy to the floor! Kamehameha dives in looking for the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kamehameha wants to work for an arm triangle but Takoy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kamehameha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Takoy is just riding it out for now. Kamehameha eventually gives up the hold.
Takoy is looking to control Kamehameha's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Takoy avoid being mounted?
Kamehameha lands strikes from half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Takoy can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Takoy is trying to stand.

Kamehameha escapes and gets back to his feet.
Takoy tries to bum rush Kamehameha with a series of wild strikes but Kamehameha uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Takoy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kamehameha counters with a nice low kick that buckles Takoy's knee momentarily.

Kamehameha lands a high kick to the side of Takoy's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Kamehameha dives into guard, looking to finish.

Kamehameha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kamehameha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kamehameha drops back, looking for a kneebar! Takoy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Takoy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Takoy!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kamehameha is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Kamehameha dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Takoy slips a jab and a cross from Kamehameha.
Takoy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kamehameha doesn't seem bothered though.
Kamehameha misses with a jab, cross combination.
Takoy tries to close the distance and clinch but Kamehameha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kamehameha clinches with his opponent.
Takoy is trying to break the clinch but Kamehameha has him pressed against the cage.
Kamehameha lands a hook to the side of the head.
Takoy is looking to break free of the clinch but Kamehameha has double underhooks.
Takoy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Takoy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Takoy tries to break the clinch but Kamehameha is controlling the position.
Takoy wants to break free but Kamehameha has control.

Kamehameha escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Takoy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Takoy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kamehameha.
Takoy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kamehameha avoids a punch combination nicely.
Takoy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kamehameha tries a head kick but it misses.
Kamehameha has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Takoy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kamehameha cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kamehameha plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Takoy swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Takoy face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). King Kamehameha!
After winning the bout, King Kamehameha thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
