Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Kasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe comes to the cage accompanied by (Ugly kid joe) Everything about you. Kasumi has chosen Ai Wo Torimodose aka Song of Manliness as his entrance music. Kenshiro Kasumi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshiro Kasumi!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Kasumi.
Joe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kasumi.
Joe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kasumi's guard.
Kasumi wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Joe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kasumi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kid Joe has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kasumi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Joe eats them both and turns towards Kasumi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Kid Joe has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kasumi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Joe is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

and Kasumi counters with a three punch combo that has Joe backing up. Joe nods at Kasumi to acknowledge the strikes.
Kasumi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Joe takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Joe takes a swing at Kasumi's ribcage but misses.
Kid Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kasumi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Joe's sensitive parts.
Joe throws a leg kick but Kasumi sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Joe stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kasumi.

Joe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Joe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kasumi.
Kasumi tries to move into range but Joe moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Joe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Joe misses the shot to the body.
Kasumi scores with a jab to the head.
Kasumi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kasumi is looking to score with low kicks.
Joe misses with a looping left.
Kasumi misses with a wild body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kasumi checks a leg kick.
Joe ducks right into an uppercut from Kasumi.
Kasumi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Joe.

Joe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Joe showed some decent athleticism there.

Joe wants to slow Kasumi down by chopping away at his legs.

Kasumi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Joe is out of range.

Kasumi has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Joe goes down! Kasumi pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!

Joe is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kasumi is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Joe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kasumi pinned against the cage. Kasumi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Joe. Kasumi does a little dance to reset his feet.

Joe gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kid Joe's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kenshiro Kasumi!
