The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawai swats away the attempt to clinch by Antunes.
Kawai tries to bum rush Antunes with a series of wild strikes but Antunes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Antunes misses with a body kick.
Soa Kawai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Antunes drops his hands for a split second and Kawai immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Antunes face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Kawai follows up with a right hand that knocks Antunes into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Soa Kawai!
A relieved looking Soa Kawai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
