Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Death Before Dishonor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephan Evurts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evurts has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dishonor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Evurts to the mat! Evurts manages to get full guard.

Evurts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dishonor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evurts is trying to control the position but Dishonor postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dishonor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evurts swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Evurts wants to get up but he can't break Dishonor's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dishonor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Evurts is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Death Before Dishonor will probably get the nod.
