The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ond takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Middleton swings widly with a right hand
and Ond counters with a one-two to the body.
Ond shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Middleton counters with a series of strikes. Ond will be more careful next time no doubt.

Middleton connects with a right hand. Ond shakes it off.

Ond tries to clinch up but Middleton circles away and keeps his distance.

Middleton throws a series of punches but Ond avoids them all with ease.

Ond goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Middleton postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ond looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Middleton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ond can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
