Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Kerjalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petter Anier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keijo Kerjalainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petter Anier!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerjalainen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Anier has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kerjalainen moves into the clinch.

Kerjalainen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kerjalainen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Anier checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Anier scores with a head kick. Kerjalainen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

and Anier counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Kerjalainen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Anier misses with a takedown attempt - Kerjalainen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kerjalainen is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Kerjalainen works his foot free and advances to mount.
Anier looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Anier is keeping busy.
Kerjalainen wants to control but Anier manages to buck him off and is now in Kerjalainen's guard! Nice work there by Anier!

Anier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kerjalainen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kerjalainen is pulling down on Anier's head. It's preventing any offense from Anier, at least for the moment.

Kerjalainen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anier doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anier manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Anier shoots for a double leg takedown but Kerjalainen sprawls well. He's pushed Anier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Anier on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kerjalainen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anier.
