The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huxtable closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dewar did well to prevent Huxtable getting side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dewar is trying to control but can't.
Huxtable with the ground and pound but Dewar uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Dewar seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dewar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Huxtable tries to free his leg and advance position but Dewar is retaining full guard.
Huxtable is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Huxtable connects with a couple of short punches.

Huxtable is sitting in close to Dewar's body. Dewar has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Huxtable is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Huxtable is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dewar.
