PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between ty yy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Plato Glazkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glazkov has chosen World at War (Russian Theme) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

yy moves into range and clinches up with Glazkov.
Glazkov fails to pull the fight into his guard.

yy lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

yy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Glazkov defends it well.

yy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
yy not doing much here.

yy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Glazkov is just riding it out for now. yy eventually gives up the hold.

Glazkov tries to push off, looking to stand up, but yy manages to move to mount!

Glazkov defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from yy.
Glazkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with yy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
yy takes Glazkov's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Glazkov is in trouble.

Glazkov is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if yy gets his way!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

yy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Glazkov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
yy is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
yy trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Glazkov doesn't escape.

yy has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Glazkov is defending well but eventually yy manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Glazkov has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
