Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ty Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Package (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Package has chosen Wait -- Earshot as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angle takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Angle shoots in for a takedown but Package shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Angle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Angle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Angle tries to pass to full mount but Package defends it.

Angle is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Angle is looking to take a break and control but Package is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Angle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Package dives on top into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Angle is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That was a close round but I would say that Ty Angle will probably get the nod.

Angle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Angle shoots in for a takedown but Package shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A nice leg kick lands there from Package.
Package cracks Angle with an open hand slap.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ty Angle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Package connects with a looping right hand.

Angle dives in and grabs Package's left leg, looking for a takedown. Package pushes down on Angle's head and hops out.

and Package counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Package swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Angle.
Angle doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Package counters with a slapping leg kick.
Package lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Angle takes one to the chin there.

Angle is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Package feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Angle crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Jack Package thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
