Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Final Fight Guy!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fight Guy is looking to slow Coleman Jr down with leg kicks.
Coleman Jr tries for a takedown but Fight Guy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Final Fight Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coleman Jr checks the leg kick.
Fight Guy ducks under a wild hook from Coleman Jr.
Coleman Jr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fight Guy.
A thudding body kick lands there by Fight Guy!
Horrible takedown by Coleman Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Fight Guy which made him look bad.
Fight Guy throws a leg kick but Coleman Jr sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Coleman Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fight Guy pinned against the cage. Fight Guy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Coleman Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Donk. Fight Guy catches Coleman Jr right on the button with a cross.

Fight Guy misses with a head kick.
Coleman Jr takes one on the button.
Fight Guy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fight Guy throws a head kick that misses.
Coleman Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Coleman Jr. Fight Guy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fight Guy misses with a two punch combination.
Final Fight Guy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck for Coleman Jr with that takedown attempt.

Coleman Jr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fight Guy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Coleman Jr wants to control from the top but Fight Guy keeps moving.

Coleman Jr throws a strike but Fight Guy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Coleman Jr has a closed guard, preventing Fight Guy from standing up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mark Coleman Jr wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Fight Guy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fight Guy misses with a low kick.
Fight Guy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A jab from Fight Guy finds it's way through Coleman Jr's defenses.
Coleman Jr shoots in but no luck this time.
Fight Guy scoring well with a low kick there.
Coleman Jr shoots in but Fight Guy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fight Guy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
That kick from Fight Guy tenderised Coleman Jr's leg. Coleman Jr is trying to keep his angry face on.
Coleman Jr misses with a takedown attempt - Fight Guy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Final Fight Guy dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Coleman Jr takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Coleman Jr shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fight Guy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Coleman Jr looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Fight Guy is avoiding damage well.
Coleman Jr throws a strike aimed at the side of Fight Guy's head but Fight Guy avoids it well.
Fight Guy tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Coleman Jr presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Fight Guy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Coleman Jr tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Fight Guy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Coleman Jr.

Coleman Jr lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Coleman Jr wants to control the pace but Fight Guy is squirming around nicely.
Fight Guy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coleman Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coleman Jr landing strikes from the mount and Fight Guy is in trouble!

Coleman Jr lands a big elbow - Fight Guy is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Fight Guy is forced to tap out!

After the fight, Mark Coleman Jr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
