Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gleico Santamiento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santamiento comes into the arena with Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen blaring out of the sound system. Renzo Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renzo Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santamiento is looking to clinch.
Santamiento moves into the clinch.
Santamiento is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gracie pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Santamiento lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Renzo Gracie has been cut.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Santamiento forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Santamiento walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Santamiento shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Santamiento keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Santamiento really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Santamiento fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gleico Santamiento. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gracie working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gracie content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Santamiento, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Santamiento wants to get back to his feet but Gracie drags him back down.
Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Santamiento is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie prevents Santamiento from escaping the position.
Gracie throws a strike aimed at the side of Santamiento's head but Santamiento avoids it well.
Santamiento is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gracie is controlling him well.
Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Santamiento is defending well.
Gracie has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Gracie takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gracie working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Santamiento is doing well to defend. Gracie seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Santamiento is forced to tap and this one is over!
