Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jones Zica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zica's entrance music is Master of Puppets by Metallica. A fine choice. Mora has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music. Jones Zica has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jones Zica!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alejandro Mora!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mora wants to clinch.
Mora shoots in but Zica avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mora is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mora looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mora takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mora forces Zica back against the cage and clinches.
Mora breaks the clinch.
Zica looks to score with a jab to the body but Mora is just out of range.

Mora bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Zica wants to get back to his feet but Mora drags him back down.
Zica tries to buck Mora off but Mora is having none of it.

Mora creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Zica sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Mora misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Mora content to control rather than advance.
Mora thows a huge punch but Zica dodges it nicely.

Zica knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mora on the ground.
Mora is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mora is nestled in close to Zica, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
