Clarke has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music. Krystof Mckay could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kendall Clarke's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krystof Mckay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kendall Clarke!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke just misses with a punch to the body.
Mckay lands with a cross.
Kendall Clarke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mckay defending well as Clarke loads up on a big left hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Clarke misses with a low kick as Mckay jumps back.
Mckay looks to throw the jab but Clarke is out of range.
Mckay walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Mckay scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mckay drops an elbow to the side of Clarke's head.
Clarke wants to get back to full guard.
Mckay lands with a punch from half guard.
Mckay throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Clarke is looking to improve his position.
Clarke is trying to control but can't.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clarke is trying to stand up here but Mckay is controlling him well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mckay lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clarke works his way to full guard. Good work.
Mckay works over Clarke with some ground and pound from guard.
Clarke doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Clarke has his foot on Mckay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mckay works his way back into a safe position though.

Clarke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mckay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mckay trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Clarke had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mckay defends it easily.
Clarke wants to sweep but no luck.
Mckay is in close to Clarke's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Clarke is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mckay drops back looking for a leg! Clarke is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clarke manages to kick Mckay off! Mckay jumps back into Clarke's guard.
Mckay advances to half guard.
Clarke is pressing down on Mckay's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Clarke is trying to control the position but Mckay postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mckay throwing strikes from guard but Clarke blocks nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Clarke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mckay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Clarke is tightening it up a little... Mckay has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mckay reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mckay taps out! Nice BJJ there by Clarke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Kendall Clarke!
Kendall Clarke decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
