Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Angry Johnny. Karwowski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Enter Sandman. Jonathan Jones has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves out of range of the strikes.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Karwowski moved out of range nicely.

The fighters circle momentarily. Karwowski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice body punch from Karwowski.
A bone on bone clash there as Jones blocks the leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jones.
Jones misses with a hook. Karwowski ducked under it nicely.

Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Karwowski cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karwowski tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jones is able to avoid easily.
Jones misses with a hook. Karwowski ducked under it nicely.
Karwowski avoids the body shot from Jones.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Karwowski regains half guard.

Karwowski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.

Jones holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Karwowski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Karwowski passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karwowski trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karwowski is looking to work his way around to Jones's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Karwowski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jones looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Karwowski! Submission of the night perhaps?
