Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Bickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes's entrance music is Country boy can survive. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bickle dips to his left and cracks Hughes with an uppercut!
Hughes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Hughes looks for a takedown but Bickle sprawls well.

Hughes jumps guard but Bickle turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Bickle tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hughes counters with a right hand to the body.
Bickle throws a low kick, looking for Hughes's leg but Hughes calmly moves out of range.

Hughes misses with a looping right.

Bickle clinches up with Hughes and pushes him back against the cage.
Hughes wants to break free but Bickle has control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hughes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hughes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hughes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bickle throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bickle does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bickle avoids the head kick by Hughes.
Some bone on bone action there as Hughes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bickle doesn't manage to clinch there - Hughes circles away.
Hughes connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hughes works the jab nicely.
Bickle throws a leg kick which misses Hughes's front leg but catches the back leg as Hughes tries to avoid it.
Travis Bickle seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hughes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bickle under the eye.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hughes. Bickle does a little dance to reset his feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hughes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A swing and a miss from Bickle .
Hughes tries a low kick but Bickle avoids it.
Bickle looks for the body kick but Hughes saw that one coming.
Bickle moves out of range as Hughes throws a body kick.
Bickle lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Hughes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bickle sprawls well. Bickle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hughes gets slowly back to his feet.

Bickle scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hughes walks into a straight right hand from Bickle .
Bickle tries to close the distance and clinch but Hughes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bickle lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hughes shoots in looking for a takedown. Bickle tries to sprawl out of it but Hughes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bickle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hughes closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bickle is trying to stand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are battling for position here. Bickle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hughes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hughes throws an elbow that misses. Bickle uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hughes's guard. Nice move by Bickle !

Hughes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bickle is aware though and is defending well.

I would just about give that final round to Travis Bickle .
I've got Bickle winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
