Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwighd Shrude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syntha Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwighd Shrude had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Syntha Six is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shrude closes the distance and clinches.
Six is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Shrude tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Six avoids it.
Come on Shrude - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Shrude lands a body punch.
Six goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Six tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shrude just stands there and leans against the cage.
Six avoiding damage as Shrude throws knees to the body.
Shrude lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Six tries to pull guard but Shrude holds him up against the cage and eventually Six drops back down to his feet.
Shrude lands with a right to the head.
Shrude is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Six is trying to pull guard but Shrude has him pressed against the cage.
Dwighd Shrude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Syntha Six.

A short body shot lands from Shrude as the two fighters clinch.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Shrude lands a hook to the side of the head.

Shrude lands a vicious elbow to the side of Six's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Shrude tries to finish him with strikes but Six still seems able to defend himself so Shrude steps back and lets Six get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Six is rocked!

Six is still on wobbly legs! Can Shrude finish him?
Six is trying to pull guard but Shrude turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Shrude throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sixs head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shrude dips a shoulder and cracks Six with a mighty uppercut! Six falls back against the cage and Shrude unloads with a barrage of strikes! Six is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Shrude screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
