The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haapasalo misses with a lunging right hand
and Do Nascimento counters with a right hand to the body.
Do Nascimento throws a right hand that Haapasalo ducks under and follows up with a left that Haapasalo also avoids with ease.
Do Nascimento connects with a leg kick. Haapasalo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Do Nascimento bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Haapasalo's head backwards.
Do Nascimento really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Do Nascimento feints and as Haapasalo raises his hands in defense, Do Nascimento changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Do Nascimento stands up over Haapasalo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Do Nascimento pushing down on Haapasalo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do Nascimento missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Do Nascimento throwing shots but Haapasalo is blocking nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haapasalo tries to roll over but Do Nascimento keeps him under control.
Do Nascimento thows a huge punch but Haapasalo dodges it nicely.
Do Nascimento moves into full mount! Haapasalo won't be happy about that!
Do Nascimento in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The referee warns Haapasalo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Do Nascimento looking to control but Haapasalo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
You get the feeling that Haapasalo really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Do Nascimento with a couple of short strikes.
Do Nascimento will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Haapasalo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Haapasalo wants to hold on but Do Nascimento pushes him away.
