Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaykke Wheaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emil Blonksy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wheaton's entrance music is 50 cent - Ready for War. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blonksy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wheaton on the side of the head.

It looks like Jaykke Wheaton has been cut.

Blonksy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wheaton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice takedown defense from Blonksy. No joy for Wheaton on that attempt.

Wheaton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blonksy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wheaton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blonksy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blonksy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wheaton misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Wheaton has hold of Blonksy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Blonksy seems comfortable defending it but Wheaton has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Blonksy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Blonksy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wheaton couldn't care less - he's delighted!
