The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a series of punches but Ellison moves out of range.
Lewis throws a right hand that Ellison ducks under and follows up with a left that Ellison also avoids with ease.
Lewis tries to bum rush Ellison with a series of wild strikes but Ellison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ellison avoids a punch combination nicely.

It looks like Kwan Lewis has been cut.
Ellison keeps control of Lewis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ellison is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Ellison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ellison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ellison drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lewis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lewis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lewis !
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lewis wants to stand but Ellison has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Lewis stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ellison has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Lewis manages to get his head free but now Ellison has transitioned to an armbar! Lewis grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ellison! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
