Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Freddy Stinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Lutinburg!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lutinburg fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lutinburg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stinger tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Lutinburg throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Stinger gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lutinburg jumps guard and drags Stinger to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Stingeris looking to pass into half guard but Lutinburg pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lutinburg is in guard.
Lutinburg tries to free his leg and advance position but Stinger is retaining full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stinger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Lutinburg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stinger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lutinburg has managed to get both his arms back between Stinger's legs - danger averted.

Stinger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lutinburg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lutinburg accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stinger wants to improve his position but Lutinburg is controlling well.

Lutinburg is sitting in close to Stinger's body. Stinger has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lutinburg is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lutinburg is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Stinger.

Freddy Stinger decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
