Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between DeShawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bring Me Down (Swollen Mix Feat. Saigon) . Tyler Liddell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Liddell with that takedown attempt.
Liddell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Carter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Liddell takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Carter tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Liddell is able to avoid easily.

Liddell swings around for an armbar but Carter sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Liddell's guard.

Liddell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Carter pushes Liddell off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Liddell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Carter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carter tries to get out of the position.

Liddell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carter is just riding it out for now. Liddell eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Liddell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carter doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Liddell.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DeShawn Carter dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Carter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Liddell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
