Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giuseppe Giacomucci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kojii Takashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giacomucci comes into the arena with Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kojii Takashii was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takashii decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Takashii is looking for a kimura here.
Takashii is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Giacomucci has managed to free his arm - good work.
Giacomucci wants to improve his position but Takashii is controlling well.
Giacomucci keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Giacomucci is looking for a sweep. Takashii is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Takashii is pressing down on Giacomucci's thigh, looking to free his foot. Giacomucci is holding on for now.
Giacomucci trying to hold on to Takashii's head to control him but Takashii postures up.

Giacomucci tries to roll over but Takashii keeps him under control.

Takashii is working for a submission of some sort.
Giacomucci is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Takashii's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Takashii's back!
Giacomucci throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Takashii!
It looks like Kojii Takashii has been cut.
Takashii trying to control the hands but Giacomucci breaks the grip.
Giacomucci lands a shot to the body.
That has opened up Kojii Takashii's cut even more.
Takashii tries to roll but Giacomucci sticks to his back.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Giacomucci.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Takashii is covering up but some of the strikes from Giacomucci are getting through and doing damage.
Kojii Takashii's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kojii Takashii's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Giuseppe Giacomucci!
Giuseppe Giacomucci was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
