Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Litran Kossu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kossu has chosen Holy Diver - Dio as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Juan Chavez had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Chavez there.
Chavez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kossu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kossu scores with the left hand. Chavez knows he should have avoided that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Kossu misses the target.
Kossu lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kossu scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chavez in his tracks.

Chavez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kossu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Chavez is nestled in close to Kossu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kossu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chavez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kossu has managed to get both his arms back between Chavez's legs - danger averted.
Kossu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chavez's guard.
