Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrea Hermias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrea Hermias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermias misses the body punch
and Hunter moves into the clinch.
Hermias can't find room to land a body shot as Hunter controls the action.
Hermias makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hunter goes for a takedown attempt but Hermias pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hermias feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hermias landing with the ground and pound.
Hermias wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.
Hermias got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hermias has managed to get both his arms back between Hunter's legs - danger averted.
Hunter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hunter looking for a guillotine here but Hermias defends easily.

Hunter controls Hermias momentarily but Hermias frees himself.
Hermias sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Hunter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hermias manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunter scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hermias is desperately trying to improve his position but Hunter has a good base and remains in mount.
Hermias tries to hold on but Hunter postures up.
Hunter trying to control but Hermias is having none of it.

Hermias manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Hermias wants to control but Hunter passes into side.
Hunter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hermias is not content to let Hunter control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunter wants to take a breather but Hermias is having none of it.
Hunter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hunter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Hunter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hunter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hermias doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hunter.
Hunter thows a huge punch but Hermias dodges it nicely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hermias manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hunter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hunter looking to improve position, pressing down on Hermias's thigh with his hand. Hermias seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Hunter paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Hunter's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Hermias picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
