Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Elias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dos Santos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ja posso suportar!. Elias has chosen Maha Kali (live) as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elias swats away the attempt to clinch by Dos Santos.
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown but Elias shows good takedown defense.
Elias misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dos Santos fails to land the takedown.
Dos Santos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Dos Santos tries to clinch but Elias moves away

and Elias moves into the clinch.
Dos Santos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Elias is defending well.
Dos Santos is breathing heavily.

Elias jumps guard and drags Dos Santos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Elias is on top in guard.

Elias closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dos Santos quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Elias is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dos Santos has managed to free his arm - good work.
