Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cu IV (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knut Ludvigsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludvigsen has chosen Grevling I Taket as his entrance music. Cu IV had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Cu IV has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cu IV seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

IV changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ludvigsen tries to avoid it but IV manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ludvigsen to the ground. Ludvigsen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
IV looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ludvigsen is fending him off so far but IV persists. Nope, Ludvigsen circles away and we're back to standing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ludvigsen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

IV manages to escape and get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ludvigsen throws a low kick but it's checked well by IV.
Ludvigsen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

IV has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ludvigsen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

IV tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ludvigsen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
