Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Dos Santos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Alves shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dos Santos defends it nicely.

Alves clinches up with Dos Santos and pushes him back against the cage.

Alves has Dos Santos pressed against the cage, preventing Dos Santos from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Alves can't find room to land a body shot as Dos Santos controls the action.

Alves breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Daniel Dos Santos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dos Santos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alves stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fight stays on the outside here - Alves looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dos Santos lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alves at a distance.
Raphael Alves is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dos Santos's waist but Dos Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side.
Horrible takedown by Alves or perhaps it was just good defense by Dos Santos which made him look bad.
Dos Santos's corner calls for a 1-2. Dos Santos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Oooooh!!! Dos Santos has knocked Alves down with a huge combo! Dos Santos steps away and waves a wobbly Alves back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Alves takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alves takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dos Santos misses with a two punch combination.
Dos Santos displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alves.

Dos Santos lands a left and a right that send Alves crashing to the mat, dazed. Dos Santos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dos Santos cracks Alves with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Alves tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dos Santos pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Alves is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Dos Santos!
