The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitton throws a head kick that Lozano semi-blocks.

It looks like David Lozano has been cut.
Fitton tries a head kick but it misses.
Fitton tries to close the distance and clinch but Lozano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lozano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fitton moves to clinch but Lozano breaks away
and Lozano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lozano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fitton moves away.
Fitton shoots in but Lozano avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lozano lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Lozano jabs at Fitton's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice sprawl there from Lozano as Fitton shoots in.
Fitton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fitton throws a leg kick which misses Lozano's front leg but catches the back leg as Lozano tries to avoid it.
Lozano throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fitton.

Fitton looks gassed!
Lozano circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lozano lands a left and a right that send Fitton crashing to the mat, dazed. Lozano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fitton is rocked!

It looks like Rick Fitton has been cut.

Fitton is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Lozano just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Fitton has gone limp and this one is over!
