Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogin's entrance music is real american. A fine choice. Patterson has chosen "I'm Too Sexy" as his entrance music. Pete Patterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Hogin. Those never looked like landing.
Hogin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Patterson.

Patterson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hogin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Patterson jumps guard but Hogin stands there with Patterson around his waist. Patterson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Patterson counters with a left and a right that stings Hogin.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Poor strikes thrown by Hogin there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Patterson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Hogin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Hulk Hogin will probably get the nod.

Patterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hogin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Patterson has managed to get both his arms back between Hogin's legs - danger averted.

Hogin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Patterson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hogin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
