The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bum is defended easily by Lashley.
Bobby Lashley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lashley tries to bum rush Bum with a series of wild strikes but Bum uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bum takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Huge Bum has been cut.

Lashley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bum napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bum seems a little lost for a moment, as Lashley dominates the positioning.

Lashley lands a strong strike to the head of Bum. That's dazed him! Lashley looking to finish here. Bum is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Lashley lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
