Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power throws a head kick that misses.

Walison scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Power is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Walison is controlling him well.

Walison closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Power scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Walison manages to mount him!

Walison can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Power is looking to escape.
Walison is landing with some decent strikes but Power is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Power takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Power's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Power wants to try and get back to his feet.
Power is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Walison wants to control the pace but Power is squirming around nicely.
Power is trying to stand.

Power doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Walison decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Power's guard.

Power is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Power wants to get back to his feet but Walison is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Walison throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Power works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Walison prevents Power from getting back to his feet.

Power is looking to stand up but Walison isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Walison closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Power is looking to get back to his feet here but Walison is keeping cool and he's managed to take Power's back.

Power manages to stand up with Walison still on his back. Eventually Walison drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
Walison's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Walison duly obliges.
Power is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Walison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Power keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Walison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Power can do anything to dispel that myth.

Walison decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Power tries to kick Walison off in order to stand up. Walison Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Power wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Power sneaks out the side door and pushes Walison away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
