The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Menezes feints and as Trator raises his hands in defense, Menezes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Menezes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Trator's head.
Menezes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Trator really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Menezes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Charles Menezes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Menezes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Menezes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

A big strike lands for Menezes! That's really hurt Trator and he's turned his back - Menezes keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Menezes jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
