The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eltsov has his foot on Mursu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mursu works his way back into a safe position though.

Mursu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Eltsov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mursu.
Mursu is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Oh Eltsov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mursu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mursu lands a big elbow - Eltsov is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Mursu!

Ilkka Mursu was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
