Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alek Zimmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piter FM (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piter FM will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
FM throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zimmer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zimmer manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
FM wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zimmer has him pressed against the cage.

Zimmer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics FM uses from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
FM wants to get up but he can't break Zimmer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
