The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Scalf.
Dodson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Scalf darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scalf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dodson keeps working.

Oh but Dodson is tightening it up a little... Scalf has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Scalf reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Scalf taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dodson!
