The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Allen does no damage.
No luck for Allen with that takedown attempt.
Allen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Caton scores with a shot to the body.
Caton misses the shot to the body.
Caton keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Caton just misses with a punch to the body.
Allen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ronnie Caton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Allen.
Allen tries to clinch but Caton is having none of it.
Allen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Allen seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Caton shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Allen is backing up but Caton catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Allen covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Caton Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
