The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Wrestler misses the target.
Geerts scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Bjj Wrestler has been cut.
Bjj Wrestler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Geerts darts in and clinches Wrestler up against the cage.

Wrestler wants to stand and escape but Geerts is having none of it.

Geerts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Geerts there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Geerts counters with a straight right hand.
Wrestler cracks Geerts with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A punch lands to the side of Wrestler 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Wrestler throws an overhand right that lands on Geerts's shoulder, as Geerts tries to avoid the shot.
Geerts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Wrestler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wrestler is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
