Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hmingthang Ii tries a head kick but it misses.
Rakhimov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Rakhimov with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Hmingthang Ii closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hmingthang Ii wants to free his trapped foot but Rakhimov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hmingthang Ii takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Hmingthang Ii gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Nice jab there from Rakhimov.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hmingthang Ii feints and as Rakhimov raises his hands in defense, Hmingthang Ii changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rakhimov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hmingthang Ii on the ground.
Hmingthang Ii slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Hmingthang Ii takes a little break here. Rakhimov wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Hmingthang Ii tries for a kimura but Rakhimov is defending well.

Hmingthang Ii is working to tighten is grip on Rakhimov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rakhimov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hmingthang Ii is really squeezing tight and eventually Rakhimov passes out! Hmingthang Ii breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
