Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson closes the distance looking to clinch

Karlsson feints and then cracks Hanma's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hanma down.
Hanma shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Karlsson defends it nicely.

Karlsson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Karlsson motions for Hanma to come forward. Karlsson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Totto Karlsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Karlsson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hanma's head.
Karlsson scores with a one two! Hanma had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Hanma takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hanma is trying hard to land a takedown here. Karlsson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baki Hanma. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hanma keeps the fight on the outside.
Karlsson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hanma is defended easily by Karlsson.
Hanma on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Hanma chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Karlsson can pounce on him.

Hanma closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Karlsson quickly recovers to half guard.

Karlsson is looking for a sweep. Hanma is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hanma postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Karlsson looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Karlsson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Baki Hanma overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hanma quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hanma but it's paid off an Karlsson is forced to tap! Nice work by Hanma.
