Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grady Meyers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tokugawa Miguroui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Meyers might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Fucked Jam by Ween. Tokugawa Miguroui told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyers moves in looking to clinch but Miguroui pushes him off.
Miguroui ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tokugawa Miguroui seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meyers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Meyers gets caught flat footed, as Miguroui shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Miguroui is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Meyers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miguroui on the ground.

Miguroui has control of Meyers's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Meyers regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Miguroui swings around for an armbar but Meyers sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Miguroui's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Miguroui drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miguroui jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
