Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seth Alexis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Lagerboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Seth Alexis has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexis drives through and clinches with Lagerboy against the cage.
Lagerboy is trying to drag Alexis to the mat but Alexis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lagerboy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Alexis prevents it.
Alexis softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Alexis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lagerboy backwards.
Lagerboy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Alexis breaks from the clinch.
Lagerboy tries for a takedown but Alexis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Seth Alexis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joel Lagerboy.

Alexis darts in and clinches Lagerboy up against the cage.
Lagerboy has Alexis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Alexis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lagerboy tries to pull guard but Alexis forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Alexis just leaning against Lagerboy, taking a breather.
Alexis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Alexis lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Alexis lands a right hand.
Alexis prevents Lagerboy from breaking the clinch.
Alexis lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lagerboy backwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alexis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lagerboy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alexis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lagerboy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alexis pounces like a tiger and cracks Lagerboy with a vicious hook! Lagerboy is down but not out! Alexis follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Seth Alexis!
Seth Alexis really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hell's Balls Recovery (160) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
