Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hattingh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Hattingh!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hattingh fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aerts looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Peter Aerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Aerts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hattingh has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aerts is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hattingh can do to turn this around?
Aerts throws a front kick that sends Hattingh stumbling back into the ropes.
Hattingh is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Aerts rather than just go for the knockout.

Aerts lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Aerts is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
