Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Mix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Mix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James King!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mix misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mix looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
King clinches up with Mix and pushes him back against the cage.
King wants to break free but Mix has control.
Mix jumps into guard, dragging King to the mat.
King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mix swivels though and keeps the full guard.
King makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mix tries to land a sweep but no joy.

King wants to control from the top but Mix keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by James King.
King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mix did well to prevent King getting side control.
Mix is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from King there.
Mix pushes King off and gets back to his feet.
King decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mix moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mix is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

King is trying to stand up here but Mix is controlling him well.
King wants to control the action here but instead Mix manages to pass to full mount!
Poor strikes thrown by Mix there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Mix unloads with some shots from mount but King bucks and avoids them well.
Mix throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for King because Mix loaded up on that one.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mix. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mix misses with a head shot.
Mix tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
King is looking to improve his position but Mix isn't that keen on the idea.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mix has hold of King's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and King manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dave Mix will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mix gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mix might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Mix thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.

Mix prevents King from standing back up.

King wants to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mix passes to full mount!
King tries to reverse the position but Mix maintains control.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King tries to improve his position but Mix has taken his back! Mix has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will King tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Mix pushes King away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dave Mix!
A relieved looking Dave Mix thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
