The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pound steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nice.
Pound forces Nice back against the cage and clinches.
Pound tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Nice avoids it.
Nice is looking for a takedown.
Nice has Pound pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pound manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ground Pound has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Havea Nice.

Nice tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pound just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pound lands an elbow that stopped Nice in his tracks for a moment.

Pound lands a vicious elbow to the side of Nice's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Pound tries to finish him with strikes but Nice still seems able to defend himself so Pound steps back and lets Nice get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Pound creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Nice's defenses.

Havea Nice's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Pound lands an elbow that stopped Nice in his tracks for a moment.
