Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lath Hoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Lamotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoy comes to the cage accompanied by Go Ninja-Vanilla Ice. Lamotta is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Survivor - Eye of the Tiger. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamotta lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hoy at a distance.
Lamotta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hoy lands a really nice looking cross but Lamotta seems unphased.
Hoy avoids the head kick by Lamotta.
Hoy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lamotta at a distance.

Hoy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hoy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lamotta on the side of the head.
Lamotta looks to land a right hand but Hoy moved out of range.

Lamotta tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Lamotta tries to land a knee to the head but Hoy blocks with his arms.
Lamotta tries to throw a body punch but Hoy avoids it by throwing Lamotta back against the cage.
Lamotta lands a shoulder strike.

Hoy breaks the clinch.
Lamotta missing with a left hand there. Hoy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hoy throws an overhand right that lands on Lamotta's shoulder, as Lamotta tries to avoid the shot.
Nice defenses there by Lamotta.
Nice body kick from Lamotta.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hoy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice uppercut there from Hoy.
Lamotta misses with a body kick.
Lamotta stuffs the takedown attempt from Hoy. Hoy gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lath Hoy will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lamotta jabs Hoy right on the nose. Hoy blinks but takes it well.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lamotta.
Hoy on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lamotta throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hoy.

Hoy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Lamotta pushes Hoy off looking to stand but Hoy dives back in and keeps control.
Lamotta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lamotta has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hoy is working away from the top position though.

Hoy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lamotta does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hoy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hoy wants to pass the guard but Lamotta is defending well.

Hoy is looking for a kimura but Lamotta is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hoy to get the leverage.

Lamotta might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hoy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hoy manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lamotta to take his back!

Hoy looking to break Lamotta's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Lamotta remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hoy will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
