The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cissi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Morris feints and as Cissi raises his hands in defense, Morris changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

and Morris counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cissi won't be happy with that.

Cissi is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Morris has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Cissi is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Cissi gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Cissi gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Cissi apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Morris throws a jab but it's blocked by Cissi.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cissi is just riding it out for now. Morris eventually gives up the hold.
