Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zac Dane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zac Dane will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dane fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Horrible takedown by Dane or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

Jones feints and as Dane raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Dane defends the submission attempt.
Jones throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dane to regain full guard.
Dane can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.

Dane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Dane tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Dane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Good leg kick by Dane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Jesse Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zac Dane.
