Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shirtless Rob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeor Mormont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shirtless Rob had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeor Mormont!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rob throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rob throws a series of punches but Mormont avoids them all with ease.

Mormont moves into the clinch.
Mormont is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rob pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mormont is looking to take this one to the mat.
Rob working hard to break the clinch.
Mormont is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rob gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Shirtless Rob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeor Mormont.
Mormont has Rob pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rob manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Rob prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mormont can't get the takedown.
Rob gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mormont.

Mormont drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rob pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rob closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Rob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jab, jab by Rob - just one landing.
Rob cracks Mormont with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Mormont throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rob was covering up waiting for the punch and Mormont finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mormont postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rob preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Rob is looking to stand up but Mormont isn't so interested in that idea.
Mormont trying to control the position from guard on top but Rob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mormont passes Rob's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mormont wants to control but Rob is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rob scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mormont manages to mount him!
Mormont lands a big shot there that rocks Rob but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mormont is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rob is surviving well by controlling Mormont's body position as best he can.

Mormont looking to finish Rob with some ground and pound. This is bad for Rob!
Oh Rob is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mormont postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rob looks a forlorn figure.

Mormont loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Rob scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mormont land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mormont stands and salutes the crowd.
