The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Witt showed some decent athleticism there.
Boran makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Boran.
Witt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Boran is looking for a triangle but Witt pushes his legs off easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boran looking to hit a scissor sweep but Witt is one step ahead there.
Boran pushes a forearm under Witt's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Witt is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
