The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Silva is able to avoid easily.
Marcos is looking to slow Silva down with leg kicks.
Rafael Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva looking to score a takedown here. Marcos is defending well but Silva drives through and ends up in Marcos's guard.
Silva trying to control but Marcos is working from the bottom.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marcos's guard.

Silva wants to finish this one by submission but Marcos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Silva.
